I used to be computer illiterate. And I still am on some things. But thanks to a friend, I was introduced to the world of blogging. Since I love reading and writing and reading, my priorities have ran amok everytime I'm in the office.

Last year, I had just begun my days in this office. Obviously there were so many issues that required my undivided attention. The only time I used the PC was for the e-mails, the financial system and also to read papers online. Well, most of the time was for me to go over the financial figures anyway.

But now, my time has been spent on reading the businessweekonline, economist, all the other blogs that I have stumbled upon and also friends' blogs. And today, I am feeling the effect on my eyes.

I am considered as blind as a bat. My spectacles are so thick that I do not dare to use them in public. I turned to contact lenses. Somehow my vision is getting worse, not better. I thought that contact lenses were supposed to help in maintaining your vision.

It's not the lenses. I blame my habit of sitting in front of the computer for hours and not taking a break at least one in an hour. I blame my reading habit (not the much though, it IS a good habit). But I blame myself the most. Because I'm sitting too close to the computer. And I slouch too.

What is the recommended position actually? I remembered reading about it somewhere. At that time, I didn't give a care in the world to that article. Now, I have to go through the old magazines again. It has to be in there at least.

Oh man! I can't even see the things that I'm writing right now.
